PRINCIPLES AND TRUST

The individual remains in control.

YoFWD can provide structure, evidence, possibilities and questions. It should not take control away from a person over decisions affecting their work, income or next stage.

The individual decides.

YoFWD does not decide which profession, career or training a person must choose. The system may help organize options and trade-offs, but the final decision remains with the person experiencing the transition.

Some situations may also require specialized professional advice beyond YoFWD’s scope.

Commercial relationships do not determine individual recommendations.

An employer, lending institution, training provider or other third party may fund, collaborate or have a commercial relationship with YoFWD. That relationship does not buy an individual recommendation or allow the evidence shown to a person to be altered.

There is no paid placement or ordering in individual recommendations. If a commercial relationship is materially relevant to an option shown, YoFWD should disclose it clearly. Sponsor funding does not direct participant decisions.

Explainability before an opaque score.

YoFWD may use rankings or scores internally or in the future, but a score should be an aid, not an authority.

Important recommendations should be explainable through capabilities, constraints, market evidence, trade-offs and uncertainty. We do not assume an algorithm is infallible.

Sponsoring access does not mean automatic access to a person’s life.

An employer, lending institution or other sponsor may fund access, but does not receive automatic access to conversations, personal budgets, individual hypotheses, recommendations or decisions.

Any individual sharing requires an explicit purpose and appropriate authorization or consent. Program-level or aggregate information may be agreed where appropriate.

Data with a clear purpose.

  • Contact details submitted online are used for the selected purpose: responding to an inquiry or providing an availability notice.
  • They are not used for unsolicited advertising.
  • Public forms should not receive sensitive financial, identity or medical data, or résumés.
  • An exact IP address may be processed temporarily for security, abuse prevention, approximate location and operations, with a maximum of 90 days under the current policy.
  • Institutional signals have only the limited uses described in Privacy.

Can my employer see my conversations?

There is no automatic access.

Can a lending institution see my personal budget?

There is no automatic access, and public forms should not receive sensitive financial data.

Can a third party pay to change a recommendation?

No. A commercial relationship cannot buy an individual recommendation.

Is a YoFWD recommendation an automatic decision?

No. Evidence and structure support the participant’s decision.

Privacy

If online submission is unavailable, the form fields are not sent to or stored by YoFWD; you can write to us directly at hello@yofwd.com.

When online submission is enabled, your contact details are sent over a secure connection and stored in YoFWD's contact management system (CRM), solely for the purpose you selected: answering your inquiry or notifying you about the program's availability. They are not used for unsolicited marketing.

We do not automatically share your details with employers, lending institutions or sponsors. None of them has automatic access to your details, conversations or personal budgets.

Do not send sensitive financial data, identity documents, medical histories or résumés through these forms.

We may process technical connection data, including your approximate country and, temporarily, an IP address, for security, abuse prevention, location suggestions, and operational analysis. The exact IP address is not shared with employers, lending institutions, or sponsors and is retained for a maximum of 90 days before being automatically deleted.

For institutional inquiries, the organization provided, the corporate email domain, and derived network signals may be used internally to identify aggregate institutional interest and prioritize outreach. Individual inquiries are not used to identify or contact the person's employer, and signals derived from those inquiries are not used for commercial analysis.
